Engine, Exterior and more

There's nothing more reliable in the diesel engine world than the trusty Detroit 60 coupled with the Allison transmission. With only 125,000 miles this workhorse is barely broken in. Starts every time quickly and faithfully.

A new A/C compressor and a new cooling fan clutch are about all thats been needed on this engine. A complete set of spare belts are in the parts cabinet. Engine Oil, filters, etc were all serviced in Jan 2023.

With this animal, you're ready to go with confidence.

The cooling fins have been washed regularly to keep it running in top condition. Last wash was August 2023.

Passenger side view.

Speaking of reliable, the roof and all rooftop Girard brackets have been completely resealed and coated with Tropi Cool. Helps keep the interior cooler during hot sunny days. Clean enough to eat dinner on. Almost.

This picture also shows the new Fantastic Fan.

Speaking of exterior items, don't miss the incredible improvement provided by the front facelift. Not just a new cap, but new windshields, new headlights, grill, etc. The transformation results in a single verticle split windshield, as opposed to the original 4 split windshield. Makes the coach look so much younger. I guess that's what a facelift is all about, even on a motorcoach. Check out this detail in the picture below.
